Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.
~Albert Einstein
There are no facts, only interpretations.
~Friedrich Nietzsche

Some people believe that a camera captures and documents "the" reality; not entirely.

One of the most brilliant Norwegian photographers, Bjørn Rørslett, once explained to me that a good picture is never just a copy of what is apparent to the eyes. A picture is good because it communicates to the viewer the significance of what is, beyond what it appears to be. Thence the difference between a simple reproduction and imagemaking.

I attempt with my camera to convey the reality of my contemplation, and with the convenience of digital darkroom to communicate even further the essence. Therefore I've never limited myself to one type of motifs, nor a certain technique, but treat everything as means of communication.

Equipments:
Basically a camera, some lenses, Photoshop and anything I find useful. I used to own a Nikon F90x pro, but now I use Nikon D100 since I went digital in 2002.

Apart from works in visuell communications, I also work as a freelance interpreter in Norwegian, English and Chinese in Norway. Being versatile and curious in most aspects of life, time seems never enough...

Not so long ago I took a personality test just for fun, and was astonished to find for the first time in my life my whole person, both inward and outward, has been precisely accounted for to the details. Fortunately I seem to be a more mature and content, and thus more balanced, INTP.
An INTP Profile - Paul James' extraordinarily thorough and profound, not to mention very long, description of the INTP personality type, in case you really, really want to know me. Or just google the net and you'll find shorter ones to give you a sense of me. :D
